The
goal of this project is to build transistors from Si nanoparticles.
Crystalline nanoparticles are synthesized in a low-pressure plasma and
posttreated in the gas phase. Since this process relies on remote synthesis
of particles, it may enable us to build electronic devices and circuits
on arbitrary substrates such as glass or plastics.
